The First Day (15th December 2016)

After a long drive it was finally time to meet the newest member of the Taylor household, a lively puppy whom we decided to call Elkie.We just couldn't get over how she was so small, the first thing she did was look up at Finn and lick his face.
                       Although Elkie was happy to see Finn for the first time the feelings were not mutual with Finns first words being, ''send her back'', with that exact expression.  However maybe dogs have a sixth sense because for the rest of the day Elkie did nothing but follow Finn around, essentially screaming in dog language, '' pay attention to me right this second'.  An incredibly cute puppy but also incredibly mischievous with her nose in every cupboard and teething everything and everybody in sight.  A trait that still continues to this day.
